"I went to a Wino event in February, and enjoyed it very much! There were many wineries present, each with several wine options for people to sample- and the pours were very generous. Not only were there lovely booths for each business that made and sold wine, but there were sponsors that created and sold beautiful jewelry, body butters, candles, and really cool wine opening kits. Texas Winos attracts people that love to socialize and enjoy wine. I went solo and still spoke to sponsors and guests alike. The venue was beautiful. The hosts were friendly and professional. "Some friend and I had a wonderful birthday celebration at a Winos event this weekend. The wineries present were friendly and informative with a great variety of white and reds, sweet and dry options. There were also a couple food trucks and vendors inside to help with snacking and if you have a little too much wine. This was my second event and I can’t wait to attend more. "It was my first time going to a wine tasting in Texas, I've been to plenty out of the state, and honestly this was the best one, there were plenty of booths to try new wines. Crowds don't bother me, specially if your just enjoy the atmosphere and wine. The vendors were nice and willing to answer any question we had on the wine. Definitely would be coming back and will be more friends, I was a little afraid to bring people since it was my first time, but they didn't disappoint at all. I love that there were more than just wine booths, they had some that had snacks to try, and they were good snacks too. There were plenty of different wines to try as well. "Went to the the Wine Festival sponsored by Texas Winos in Fort Worth on Saturday at Southside Preservation Hall. What a great venue!!! My friend and I had a fun time trying out the terrific selection of Texas wines, and the music was a nice backdrop. It was good to see some old favorites, as well as some new vendors, such as Decadent Saint, with a variety of extra hard mixers that were simply delicious! Multiple drink recipes possible with each flavor, they're all natural, and don't even require refrigeration. Some excellent food options, and the gourmet chocolate and olive oil vendors provided samples of their wonderful products😋. "We have attended 2. Wouldve been 3 but I misread the dates on the one in our hometown. Great way to get out and find different areas we wouldve never explored. San Antonio's parking was a beast, but my small car took care of that. Ample parking in Temple/Belton and spaced out and had AC. We noticed less wineries at this past weekend's, but we still had a great time at a nice venue/location! A list of confirmed vendors might be a comfort for future attendees. My mother thoroughly enjoyed her purchases. We were able to sample lotions, and chocolates, and jerky and even bacon, as well. We saw some faves from San Antonio and were able to replenish out fave wines, and grab some we didnt before. It was great. I wish the local winery Dancing Bee was in attendance, with their meads, or even Valley Mills bc Ive never tried them. The live music of Mr. Rozell was great all around, but the relaxing wine needed the uptempos to not get too relaxed. The Jones' food truck was tasty per usual. They are a Killeen staple. It would be nice to have other food types as well. The tasting is an excellent price and very smart to charge in that way. Like Germany and its fests, if you charge less for entry they are likely to pay more. We definitely purchase more, but its a treat to try the wines before purchase.
